Hope the offender goes down with his team. Leeds fans have always behaved like this. Remember them when they used to visit the 2nd Division team I grew up watching in the 80s. Scum.

Was at the game at Elland Rd sat in the stand opposite their kop. When they came over the perimeter wall remember a player ( I think Willie Donachie) coming over to the lowfield rd to calm City fans who were climbing over to greet them. Just pissed ourselves laughing when all they seemed to do was run about in the corner and wouldn't charge towards us.

My thoughts exactly, let’s set a baying mob of inbreds free into City fans of a certain age, no wonder a couple of old fellas have copped for a few this season, fucking cowards, and the policing is no better. Who do they expect to be around at that stage ? The place is full of old school City & families making their way home after clapping their team off, can see a return to the days of mobs waiting about for away fans & picking them off and if the police don’t get their act together

Maybe a little late to the storytelling here, but back in the 70s it was widely thought that you would suffocate in poisonous gases before you hit the 'water' if you fell in the Irwell.

While we don't know all the facts, I can say that if one of our supporters has assaulted somebody outside your stadium, that is a poor reflection on that individual and I hope he is brought to law, but all clubs have supporters like this.

I will concede that we are 'one of those clubs' with a particularly rambunctious fan base.

I've said this before and I will say it again, the media are also responsible for violence towards our fans with their anti city rhetoric. They are stirring up hatred towards the club, ofcourse it may have happened regardless as Leeds fans are scumbags.

Just been thinking about this and you have to think that the media are at least partly responsible. There have been several of these “cheap shot” incidents of late. Earlier in the season, a Forest fan punched an elderly City fan as he dared to queue up at the turnstiles to get in the ground. Last season an innocent City fan was knocked unconscious when confronted by a mob of Rags near The Townley. There was also the incident involving the female City fan against Liverpool this season. Plus incidents abroad against Bruges and Schalke. Whether we can hold the media responsible for the Leeds, United, and Liverpool incidents in particular I’m not sure but I do think opposition fans see City fans as easy targets because they believe all the hype about us being plastic fans, etc. Well as @Ric said, a couple of Leeds got filled in in the Family Stand yesterday of all places for gobbing off. Another got knocked out for gobbing off in the South Stand last season. And then there was this particular incident where @Manchester33 is as sound a fan as you can get and anything but a hooligan yet still had the balls to chase after the prick and not take a backward step. These cunts can resort to cowardly tactics of picking on easy targets but that doesn’t alter the fact that City fans in general are not quite the pushovers that they think we are.

Edit: I also forgot to mention the 9 year old City fan who was punched by a Villa fan in his 50s at the 2020 League Cup Final

Some of these new era “fans” need to know some home truths and who they are fucking dealing with to be fair . Pretty sure not in the too distant past Millwall and City were involved in what was described the worst hooliganism ever seen in London . Takes some doing that ! SWP era ! Remember us drawing them away in the FA cup a year or so later and our away fans were banned from the Den , SWP saluted the empty away end after we won the tie .

The only fact of concern is one of your fellow inbreds sucker punched an elderly man who clearly wasn't in a position to defend himself,there is fuck all excuse for such cowardice,and anything else is immaterial.
