Went online to buy my two girls the new city kit, kids sizes are all marked up as boys......the girls no longer want them,im a bit better off but marketing own goal.

Yeah, it does say "boy" but I doubt they set out to be sexist about it, more like an oversight. It should probably read "youth". It's not something that most girls would get upset about to be honest* but if you feel strongly then email MCFC's shop and let them know.

It's not like kids differ in shape at that size range, I'm pretty sure your daughters would have been in the same shirts as the boys. If someone has more curvy older teen girls then the smaller sized ladies shirts come in to play.

* (More than any concern about how "sexist" city are being, I'm more concerned about what drama queens you're bringing up if they get upset over stuff like a size chart on a website).

Your children sound really spoiled if they've spat the dummy over something so trivial.
I was once part of a delegation which brought several shipping containers of used children's football boots, kit and equipment to Africa. At least they appreciated it.

Yeah just a typo i'd say. Got the "boys" one for little Miss MB, 'tis fine.<br /><br />-- Thu Aug 25, 2011 12:34 pm --<br /><br />

Out of interest does it say "boys" on the label or is it, as I suspect an MCFC shop mistake rather than an Umbro sizing mistake?

On the tag in the shirt it has SB, MB or LB. I can't remember what was on the tags you throw away.

So Umbro are just as much at fault.

Still, the girls are being way too precious about it, if you want a City top you get a city top, you don't exactly have to look at the label. Mine could say "large breasted crossdresser XXL" and I'd still wear it. I'd just make sure the label didn't stick up out of the collar.
