The wife is watching" Meet Me in St.Louis" in the living room and I just overheard the song "Skip to my Lou".
We always used to sing at the Derby match -

Was reading through the ESPN City Classics thread the other day and reading the old songs that brought back memories,meant to post the following which was sung 70s and early 80s by all clubs:

And do they smell?
Like f---in hell

Jeez,some crap songs and you took your life in your hands with some aways.

To the tune of "Distant Drums" - by Jim Reeves, I think.
Most of the terrace songs were either modified current pop songs e.g. Sha la la la Summerbee (the Faces -Sha la la lee) or they were older
more traditional songs brought up to date and given new lyrics. -e.g. When the Blues go marching in ,We'll be running round Wembley with the Cup(She'll be coming round the mountain), Hello Hello we are the City Boys(Marching Through Georgia),etc. etc.

Hymn of the United States Marine Corps, Cyber.
Original words are "From the Halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli" to commerate 2 of the USMC earliest campaigns against the Mexicans and then the Barbary Coast pirates.
And then updated and new lyrics added by football fans in the 1960s.
