First half defensive errors cost us, Danilo should never be played in a three again. Or perhaps we don't play a three again until Stones is fit.
We were the better team in the second other than our finishing letting us down. They had one shot.
The young players did well, was expecting Foden to star but his position didn't help, Diaz looks ready to play if needed.

I hope Shakhtar get Liverpool and knock them out!

Foden was playing out of position - let us not forget. Diaz had a very good introduction to top class football.
Clutching at straws - it would have ended 1-1 but for Ederson 's "rush of blood" - If he had had committed into the tackle he could have got a red.
Oh well - let us start again on Sunday and start a new unbeaten run.

tbf he is 17 and as you say was playing out of position. you can see the talent he has though. that pass he made was magical.
