A 5 day tribunal hearing ??How long will it take?
Difficult to be specific but I would take a wild guess at 120 hours or so.
But please don't quote me on that.

Seems like very long days. I could have it wrapped up by 0830 on a Monday morn. Bloody lawyers and jihadists taking this piss.A 5 day tribunal hearing ??

And then throw away the key !!Can we legally ( under international law) make her stateless and remove citizenship? I think Bangladesh ducked her (might have been our) claim to her citizenship there via family. I think we should spend the time/effort and money on prosecuting her as a terrorist here and locking her up for a very long time.
Lot of money though I said years ago she should have accidentally fell out of a plane. After it took off of course. Can we legally ( under international law) make her stateless and remove citizenship? Yeah if it happened I would have been truly gutted:-)What a bizarre opinion to have (though I'm assuming at least partially tongue in cheek?)
Edited for accuracy.Yeah if it happened I would be rock hard for days.
Is "doing good" a bad thing in your eyesThe terrifying thing about this is a load of do gooder types will believe her and probably start some sort of petition to let her in the country.
No. Is stopping terrorists a bad thing in yours? Is "doing good" a bad thing in your eyes
The road to hell and all that...Is "doing good" a bad thing in your eyes
some people oddly enough have an issue with the fact that British law may take precedence here - something I believe British people voted for and British politicians still argue should take precedence. It almost like certain British laws should only apply because certain people think they should take precedence - its the law folks lets see how it plays out.

Yes we can make her stateless and yes we have. Can we legally ( under international law) make her stateless and remove citizenship? Exactly. In an ideal world I'd want to see her prosecuted for treason and terror offences and throw away the key but the reality is because of the reasons you mention there's a massive risk of her not ending up in jail should we let her back into the country.Yes we can make her stateless and yes we have.
Can we prosecute her ? I'm not so sure we can. We cannot use evidence from phone taps so what is the evidence ? We can prove she left this country as someone can stand up in court and say so. After that ? Would we get evidence that can be tested in court that she left Turkey and entered Syria, more to the point, can we prove any illegal activity once she arrived there ? Evidence requires a witness that the defence can cross examine. I doubt we have that hence the removal of citizenship.
Are you suggesting that people who do good things enable terrorism, whilst people who do bad things stop terrorism.No. Is stopping terrorists a bad thing in yours?
