It's a strange one. We've had players that take time to settle in, but they tend to do it while actually getting some game time (except maybe Ake due to injuries). If he's not getting games, how are we going to expect him to learn the system? Looking like another Jack Rodwell at this point.

I was do disappointed in what happened with Jack Rodwell. I was convinced at the same that he would become our peak Patrick Viera.

Only worry with this game is them kicking City off the park as you know they will be allowed too. Would not risk Kev, Rodri, Stones or Harland, this game is not dangerous from a playing aspect but very much so from a player injury aspect. Phillips needs to step up, huge game from him today if he can’t perform here then he is next to useless for City and needs to go.
