The Sheikh gave an interview to one of the local papers stating that the club will add one or two players this summer.

He also said that the club must retain the Premier League title. In addition, he praised the current players and said that the manager is happy with them.

May be a good time to weigh up safe houses for the wife and kids Bobby. I have no doubt we have the quality to win it, but i would play it safe around December.

Did he really say "must", Akai? It doesn't sound like a very Sheikhy thing to say ....... setting a target in public that he knows won't be easily attainable.

OK, thanks. "Important" sounds much more "Sheikhy" and isn't so definitive.

You can be sure some people on here will be calling for Mancini's head when we drop our first point in the coming season and we don't want to give them ammunition by being able to quote a supposed imperative from the owner.

Careful lads. Nothing remotely resembling abuse or the forum may be closed!
In the interests of accuracy, the translation says 'players' so could yet be more than 2, though on current form, 2 would represent an over achievement!
 
As long as it's one or two (Agger and De Rossi), plus reinvesting the transfer fees of certain players leaving like
Dzeko (Damiao/Llorente), de Jong (Diarra/Wanyama), Kolarov (Digne/Taylor), AJ (Ramirez/Sinclair)

Didn't he used to say something about this old house getting old and not needing it anymore or am I thinking of the wrong one?
