Just an idea but could it be naming the stadium after said company rather than a shirt deal?

That's exactly my thoughts.

I know it was condition of the build, but naming rights for the stadium is ripe for increasing our turnover.

May well have been one of the conditions we are now existing on.

There is already the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne/Sydney?

New development around the ground, expansion and redevelopment of our current stadium and what better to launch it all? The "insert name here" stadium Manchester! Would make sense I agree.

Yep, it's in Melbourne. Mind you, that stadium has had more names than I've had hot dinners.
