Those bullets. Being able to get up that high was a weapon in itself, if he was at street level

He set up in a hotel room. Pretty easy to smuggle weapons in when there's no scanners and setting up wouldn't have taken him long.

Sadly there is no answer and incidents like this will carry on happening. The gun lobby is too powerful and if they can't do anything after Sandy Hook, they won't do anything after this. You can guarantee there will be calls from some for current gun rules to be relaxed further so that concert goers could have fired back.

Absolutely horrendous scenes and tbh it's surprising this sort of thing doesn't happen more often, I guess most lunatic gunmen just aren't as smart as this wanker. Just have to hope it doesn't start a trend.
At the very least it pisses all over the "if the people had more guns they could have defended themselves" bullshit that the NRA normally trot out after this kind of atrocity. Just can't see how anyone can think having automatic weapons should be legal.
