The actual King Leonidas was 60 years old at the Battle Of Thermopylae, but still fought on the front line with his men. Despite his older age, he was still in great shape, and was still a formidable fighter, probably due to the Spartan training being one of the few Spartan Kings that actually went through the Agoge System.
