Should City Follow West Ham and Reduce Season Ticket Prices

Re: Should City Follow West Ham and Reduce Season Ticket Pri

Think ticket prices & distribution as a whole should be looked at .every home game we have hundreds of empty seats yet thousands on the waiting list .should be a simple system in place where as if a season ticket holder cant go the club can re sell with out the likes of via gogo getting involved .the price of a home game match ticket should be looked at as well £48 plus for the ticket alone is a hefty chunk out of any ones wages .while people can afford & will pay it doesnt encourage local working class fans to attend .

Yes! Level 3 should be £400. Level 2 should be £600 and level 1 should be £500. Family stand level 1 kids should be £99

Matchday admission should be £30 level 3 £50 level 2 and £40 level 1. £10 concessions.

Simple!

What football clubs charge now is an absolute disgrace to the working people of England.

Yes to the question, however:

City have announced their prices.

I would be surprised if they reduced because of West Ham actions, or any other Club's.

Reductions would be welcomed but unlikely to happen.

City have NOT released their season ticket prices for 2016/7 yet!!! West Ham fooling everybody & publicity seeking coz they will need to fill their new ground when they move. Why haven't they reduced some prices THIS year like City have?

Re: Should City Follow West Ham and Reduce Season Ticket Pri

Bit of a daft question really, can't imagine anyone saying "no, they should go up £100 every year"
The question should be will they reduce or freeze prices, and the answer to that is no

Not a chance a reduction will happen. A price freeze as a token gesture next season before another few hikes is my prediction. The club couldn't care less about long standing fans no matter how much some want to believe it.

you really have got no idea.

in answer to the op yes we should reduce the prices. missed a big PR moment here city.

Re: Should City Follow West Ham and Reduce Season Ticket Pri

Yes to price freezes in 2016/17.

Price reductions will only happen if we fail to fill the stadium next season (but the prices might go up anyway!)

Re: Should City Follow West Ham and Reduce Season Ticket Pri

Every club should be doing more to pass on some of the the TV money increases to their supporters.

Re: Should City Follow West Ham and Reduce Season Ticket Pri

What's painful here, in fact bordering on immoral is that with all the extra revenue the clubs will get from the TV deal is likely to go into the pockets of undeserving (some) players and even more undeserving agents, rather than the fans that create the atmosphere that enables the product to be so attractive in the first place

Re: Should City Follow West Ham and Reduce Season Ticket Pri

To be fair they are reducing their cheapest from £620 to £289, it doesn't say how many or whether there will be more than there is of our £299 and £350.

Just posted this on another thread. It is relevant here as well.

As part of the stadium expansion, City have introduced c4500 season tickets in the price range £290-£380.

Looking at the stadium as a whole there are now 178 sections of which 37 are for the new seats (incredible value) and 43 sections where the price is the same or lower than last season. 56 of the remaining 98 sections show price increases of no more than £20 from last season.

Playing devil's advocate, is your solution to keep moving further back to worse seats to keep it 'affordable'?
