So many teams buzzing about trying to get players or replace ones that could leave this week.

Surely it isn't great for preperations for any team with games already srarted in the EFL and the prem starting tomorrow.

open the day the season ends close friday before the charity shield.

Players getting injured randomly happens so shouldn't be a reason to have it open for 3/4 weeks into the football season

We did this a few seasons ago. Teams were left unable to buy, but European clubs could still come in and take their players because their window was still open
it would be ins and outs, or all leagues comply, it is silly the saudi league could poach players last year after the season started an end of window is that.

If you can harmonise it across European football so the date is consistent or at least ensure that any foreign approaches for players are naturally blocked by the prem, then yes

But if not, then it just allows othe teams to poach or unsettle your players

Is there another industry outside of sport, that is only allowed to trade twice a year during specific dates…Madness!

Is there any industry in the world where people are bought and sold for their skills and contracts can mean fuck all if a company decided your an sellable asset only.

If football employment ran like any other business there wouldn't be transfers at all, there would be employees seeing out a contract or being released or fired depending on circumstance and then finding a new employer.

Yes. Strawberry picking. Golf. Entertainment.

Lots of industries have seasonal hiring. It is logical. As it is with football, given the types and lengths of competitions.

Close it completely.

Let the youngsters from the academy get there opportunity, We've the best academy in the world so we'll still win everything anyway so it's all good.

Nowhere near enough of a summer break for that to be viable. Most top players have played football this summer, they aren't getting involved in a transfer whilst they're playing so they've have had 3/4 weeks to have a holiday and sort out a move.

Personally I'd get rid of the window entirely, say everybody is free to sign players at any point but they have to wait until the 1st of the following month to be eligible to play.

FYI, golf is classed as a sport…

Go back to how it was. It closes a few weeks before the season ends then opens again when it’s the summer break (remember them?).
Open all year long. Stop this silly last day fucking madness that only the sports media like
