Should we prioritise Champions League now?

The champions league doesn't start back up until Feb?? What is there to prioritise? On top of that, prioritising a cup competition would be idiotic as the amount of luck needed to win it is disproportionate.

We consolidate, steady thee ship, put a run together, and see where we stand. More to the point, we won't cruise to second this year.

If we get to the quarters and semis out a p a of needtouching diistannce rest in the league, yeah, by all means rotate for the league. But it's fucking December.

No we have come from behind to win the league before with less games to play and more points adrift give your heads a wobble people this is city now not the city of old

They would want to win them all, but there is zero doubt what any of them would want to win first and that is Champions League. Apart from Rodri and Angelino, they all have PL medals, most of them multiple ones and for the likes of Silva and possibly Aguero, this might be the last chance saloon to win CL. It's very much same with coaching stuff, board and owners.
Have to disagree, 3 in a row will be high on the agenda

Liverpool have this club world cup thing in December. They literally play 2 games, in 2 continents within 24 hours of each other. Let's see how well their squad copes over the Christmas period. They have a solid starting 11, but their strength in depth is yet to be tested under Klopp.

its the clubs number one target and pep will want this more than ever after winning everything in england, but there is a line drawn that the fans have made and uefa have crossed it so many times with rules and fines and then non to little punishment on other clubs, so they really don't give a shit about champions league other than its a game involving manchester city and you have to go and watch the lads

they say you have to be good enough to win the champions league ?? even pep says it when asked in interviews but we are better than liverpool so that question does not stand up, i always say you don't win the champions league they give it to you as a award for greasing the palms of the board of uefa with nice watches

It doesn't need to be tested, he simply bares his gnashers and says run or i'll chomp ya cock off, and the fuckers run like headless chickens all season long.

Of those two games only one will be competitive, the other simply making up the numbers.
They will ditch the league cup without doubt, the last thing they want is two semis in January.
I'll say it again they are a couple of injuries away from a run of draws.

We'll have to wait and see what he does. It's not unimaginable that they beat Villa with a reserve team. I reckon Villa are more concerned about their Premier League survival and will likewise rest first-team players.

Either way, they still have a headache in December with travel to Bournemouth, Salzburg and Qatar. Then they have their Christmas fixtures. They're going to have to squeeze the re-arranged game with West Ham in somewhere.
