Shower panel leak

Maybe a crack that opens up when you are using the shower, can be difficult to spot

those 250mm panels are crap in showers, we had instaled them in an upstairs shower and had to go back time after time because of leaks, water gets in the joints and runs down the back then through the ceiling below, two things you can do- run a upvc bead on the joints and silicon on 'looks crap' or fit the boarding that comes in a 8x4 piece so you wont have joints this will fix onto your existing finnish using pink grip

Find the leak first in case it gets worse. It’s no good silicone an area because as you know water travels to the lowest point.

Just had my shower done with panels. They were thick and heavy and had a very intricate tongue/groove locking system that we tried to get water through using a small sample piece. Dry as a bone on back after blasting with hosepipe for ten minutes.

That's great to hear that the panels seem to have good water resistance!
