Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to the latest shipment for Sierra Leone.

The loading of the 40ft Shipping container was completed yesterday (Thursday 18th August) and we couldn't have got anymore in it.

The container is due to start it's long journey to Freetown next Thursday 25th August.

Next Friday night (26th August) the Poynton Branch of the Supporters Club are having a Family Charity Race Night in aid of Sierra Leone at Poynton Sports & Social Club, London Road.

All money raised will go towards the shipping costs.

Paul Lake and the FA Cup will be in attendance and guests from City have been invited.

If you would like to go and or make a donation please contact John Clay johnclay@ntlworld.com

Many thanks for your fantastic support.

Cheers,

H.

Great stuff. Just heard that Armani has been on TV in Sierra Leone and the president of the country watched and wants to know the story. Apparently the president has invited Armani to visit him to tell the tale.

All good stuff that City fans have been doing for the City community in Sierra Leone and it looks like there is more to come.
