Armani arrives in the UK this Wednesday (3rd November) and to coincide with his visit a brand new Sierra Leone website been set up by our one and only Ric Turner.

Help MCFC Sierra Leone become financially independent.

Sierra Leone is one of the poorest countries in the world, with an average life expectancy of 38.

With your help we can make a difference.

See how you can help at: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.sierraleonemcfc.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.sierraleonemcfc.co.uk/</a>

Re: New website for Sierra Leone

Hi Howard...

I would love to meet Armani at one of the games.
I am not a member of a supporters club but do home and away games.
Where abouts will he be sat for the derby mate !?

Cheers.

Re: New website for Sierra Leone

The thing about our club is that, apparently, we "have no class..."

I beg to differ.

Well done to everyone involved. Great stuff.

Howard, I've let Struan and London SC know (cc'd Kevin P and Harry Brett)

Re: New website for Sierra Leone

The work Howard, Alex, Tony, Phil and others do is inspirational, and the help the club are providing is a credit to them. At a time when City are being accused of lacking class, I think this story proves otherwise. For those of you who haven't seen the videos I implore you to watch them:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.sierraleonemcfc.co.uk/Videos.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.sierraleonemcfc.co.uk/Videos.aspx</a>

It's a great story, and a credit to everyone involved. If anyone can help out, either financially or by donating stuff to go out in the next container (due to leave early next year) it'd be a huge help.

A lot of people wanted to donate to the Mercer/Allison banner we had made recently, but fortunately we were able to cover the costs, so if anyone wanted to instead donate to this great cause it'd be a fantastic gesture.

Similarly those who have offered in the past to help out with the running costs of the site, these lads need the money much more than us. Any help would be greatly appreciated. There are details of how to contribute on the site.

Cheers,
Ric

Re: New website for Sierra Leone

Nice one....

Armani's going to have a busy month with us, besides all of Citys games he's so far going to three Branch meetings at Poynton (11th Nov), Hazel Grove (15th Nov) & Milton Keynes (18th Nov) he's also at the Reddish Race Night on Friday 12th Nov.

If you've a Branch meeting while he's here let me know and we'll see if we can organise a visit.

Thanks to all those involved in bringing him over, i'm sure he'll be ecstatic at the opportunity to see the blues in action. I hope he enjoys his stay in England, and i hope he catches as many games as he can. Must be great for him from having all those pictures of coms and mcfc in his room to actually being there, am very happy for him.
