Yeah he is a fantastic prospect but his buyout clause is £33million and he's not worth close to that, plus Bilbao really want to keep him and he's loyal being a Basque boy like all of their players. De Rossi could also cover for Yaya and Kompany, and is a more realistic option though that potential deal is on a knife-edge right now.

We can see Vinnie's ban out by playing Micah in his position. Strong & can sure get up & head a ball. The only thing is we would miss him down the wing. But for me this would save a panic buy in the transfer market. Why rush out & buy a player we don't really want. Or there is Savic who did not look out of place when he came on in the 2nd half. Between our squad we can fill the gaps in the back 4 & midfield. Its the strikers roles we need to be looking at with injuries.

Really playing well against Madrid right now and handling Benzema well - again as a centre-back, so if we buy him what do we buy him as, a defender or midfielder? He can play both but eventually like Kompany will have to settle on one position. Bilbao seem to fancy him more as a defender now.
