I for one am definately over the moon with the posibility of signing kaka, i have in fact been walking around all day with the fattest grin ever, and if we do pull this off, i will be wanking solid for the next year over kaka's picture!!

However, i am concerned with the wages all these 'superstars' are demanding (buffon and kaka), 500k a week is fucking loads, and i fear it will change the sport, along with possibly fucking up our club - what happens when our mega-fucking rich owners get bored of the 'same old city' losing to wba and the other relegation fodder every week, and decide to leave - we're left with players wages we cant afford. Is this all worth the gamble to be able to finally stick one up to the rag cunts, or are we playing a dangerous game? Will we ever be self-sufficient with such a high wage bill, or are we always gonna be relying on the shiekhs money?

What does everyone think?

Tried looking for a post if this has already been discussed, if there is one, sorry.

I'll be able to see Kaka in a City shirt less than 5 miles from my home every other week, I couldn't give a flying fuck about anything else.

37 years following City and about 30 of them watching shit week in week out, i'll live with what it 'MIGHT' do to football in general.

Another Rag wum.

Why does every bit of constructive criticism on here get greeted with "rag wum", are we not allowed to voice a concern, or a different opinion??!! I thought we were suppose to stick together, its not on the same scale, but, its like the idiots that call themselves blues, but then go and try to fight there fellow blues on away days... IDIOTS!!

Dont we have enough abuse from real rags, let alone needing it from our own fans aswell!! Chill out mate!!

I doubt it's 500k probably 200K or thereabouts.

But like any other financial proposition you have to balance it against what we will get for that. An increase of 3,000 on the gate will probably pay half of it. Then there's merchandise and the increased sponsorship that our higher profile could command. Then each league position higher we finish is worth nearly £1m.

Is there anyone in the football world living in the same financial world as the rest of us?
Rumoured £90k wages per week for Bridge - A FULL BACK ! £200-500k per week for a footbaler called Kaka to play! Season ticket prices rising whilst the world goes into recession.
Sometimes I despair.I really do.
