his eye for a pass is the best bar none in the pl

a fit silva could be the difference between top 4, as we lack an catalyst, yeh tevez may grab a few matches by the scruff of the neck, but he doesnt have the guile of silva and against the teams that 'park the bus' u need the creator in the middle of the park.

i have without doubt that david silva will become as good for us as samir nasri has been for the gooners this season, like people have already said he just makes us tick.

You'll often see Silva drop deep to receive the ball from NDJ or Barry and immediately pass it straight back. Judging by some comments I hear there are a few fans who seem to miss the impact of this. By dropping deep Silva has dragged an opposition midfielder with him (he's far too dangerous to be left alone for long) and consequently has opened up space for a pass to be made to a more advanced team-mate.

Also the assist stats won't show how often Silva's vision enables a team-mate to set up a scoring chance.
