spending resrictions in January and lose title...lose Mario and Garcia in January, bring in fat frank,de rossi and david villa and retain it....

If we drop points against Norwich while United beat Wigan, the season could be a write-off by January so will they want to spend if that is the case?

Wouldnt trust him with any money in Jan espcially when theres a good chance he wont be here next season, sell the fringe players and then buy.

So u wanna give it away without trying?
Its not like we have a shit team Mancini should be doing better with the plaers have, I dont see the point in spending another 50 million when the manager might be out the door next summer.

Not sure about Frank, but agree with the other two. A loan with an option to buy on Villa would be great, he can at least score.

Isco for width and Benat for a creative deep player would be perfect. No matter who is manager, these are all quality players.

So - we might not win the title this year - boo hoo - sack the manager!! - despite him being hamstrung by Marwoods misplaced belief that you don't need to spend big to get quality.
If Mancini had been properly backed and got his way in the summer to sign RVP and/or Hazard - we'd be walking it - SO who's fault is it??
Ferguson got his way despite a poor season - Mancini got shafted by Marwood's weasel assurances, despite bringing us the Premiership title!
Also - why is it always sack sack sack with us?? Ferguscum has 12 titles in 26 years - we'd have sacked him 14 times.

That said - a very disappointing day today - I think we're entering a hanging onto Champions League footaball stage.

That's just the point. If he needs a fifth world class striker in the squad to be able to win games, it tells you all you need to know about him as a manager...

If you think we would have kept all three of tevez, balo and edin after getting van persie, it tells more about you to be honest mate.

really isn't that simple. It also sounds very 'quick fix'. Last year, we needed the shot I'm the arm that was Tévez's return to win the league. The said transfers may do exactly the same, but would say an awful lot about Mancini that we may even already know.

What exactly is shit about what the posters written?! The players RM wanted would have boosted the squad so much more than the squad dross that have been signed. Sinclair is gash and Swansea was his level, Rodwell is made of glass and always has been - fuck me you don't need scouts for that one, I could have told RM, Garcia is immobile and slow, so is Barry but he has 14/15 years experience of how to do his role in the prem, Maicon is on the wane and also seems perma-injured, Nasti is the only signing I rate but he is young and can't be relied on too heavily.

Had we gone balls out for DDR/RVP/Hazard like Rm wanted I doubt we would have signed any of those players bar Nasti and we would be walking this league at a canter. Either the board back RM in January or to be fair the writing is on the wall come May. The only saving grace I believe would be for RM to win the league, I doubt an FA cup would do it.

Apart from United and Madrid, City failed this season to beat

Everton
Stoke
West Ham
Ajax
Dortmund
Sunderland
Arsenal
Liverpool
Chelsea

Does any of these teams have better strikers than City ?

If it is just down to what quality players you have then surely anyone could manager our team? Yes the summer was shite and I have no idea who went ahead with the deals it could have Mancini for all we know but we should still be beating shite sides like Sunderland with the likes of Aguero and Tevez.
