The **** went in to the bank where my wife worked back in the early 80s asking for a loan, for his band the ‘frantic elevators’ and handed out copies of their first record, ‘Holding back the years’ gave it a listen and slung it in the bin. He was a **** then riding round Haughton green/Denton on his bike, and he’s a **** now!
Also, he wasn’t the Big red he’s made out to be.

However I'm not going to play a track from that album, prefering to play a brace of my all time favourite from our Denton Darling of blue eyed souls ninth album "Simplified" I hope you like them as much as I do!

Thanks TGB. I agree with the other poster too, if he was a blue, lots would fawn over him. Yes, he’s a red but I see through that when I listen his music. It doesn’t stop one of my family saying ‘red xxxx’ whenever he‘s on the tv but his music is another matter. Oh and thanks @Onholiday(somemightsay) but I think I said he had a good voice, not he was a xxxx;)
