Everton keen on January loan move for out-of-favour Scott Sinclair

Everton are keen to bring Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair to Goodison Park on a loan deal when the transfer window opens in January.

Sinclair, who moved to the Etihad Stadium over the summer from Swansea, has struggled to earn his place in Roberto Mancini’s side, with Everton spotting an opportunity to give the 23-year-old some game time.

But despite being keen on striking a deal for the youngster, Toffees boss David Moyes accepts his side would struggle to afford Sinclair’s hefty wages and hopes to reach a compromise with City.

City, who signed Sinclair for £8m, have already indicated they would be willing to send him out on loan, despite the midfielder remaining keen to stay at the Etihad and fight for his place.

But having only made two Premier League starts for second-placed City this season, Sinclair’s immediate future looks set to be away from the club.

QPR have also stated their admiration for the former Swansea player, but he is unlikely to want to switch Premier League challengers for relegation strugglers.

Seems plausible.

I doubt his wages are that "hefty" mind.

The manager got it very wrong.

How do you know this? According to the press, Mancini wanted very different players from those he actually got but do you know better???

He might not get the money for main targets but if he did not approved players that came then he should resign.

What a stupid comment. If managers had that attitude, there'd be none left. Do you really think Fergie wanted Bebe!!!!!!

He's the manager of our football club, that means he manages, which means he decides whether or not to sign a player(s)........he chose to sign some that are neither use nor ornament.

Regardless of who he primarilly wanted, and ultimately didn't get,he didn't have to sign the ones he did.

Google a David Conn guardian article about bebe and see how the deal stinks of dodgy dealing.

The sideways movement of marwood suggests Mancini won the "I told you so" argument

Thought you couldn't play for 3 teams in one season. He played and scored for Swansea on the opening day at QPR before joining us.

Surely this will quash all talk of Sinclair leaving?

wont happen and we wont be getting felliani.. we have milner, barry, garcia, yaya, rodwell

just not feasible plus we have george evans

That's hardly my problem mate, it's more manager's one. If he is accepting that than he and you too should expect that I won't give him a free go and blame Marwood for everything.

Many managers had quit for this sort of problems though.

Marewoods fault left everything to the last minute, hence Trixi and co.

Sinclair and Lescott on loan and Fellaini to us for 20mil

Signings are done by commitee at City. Mancini will have an input but not the final say. Was thus in the era of Marwood and possibly even more so now Tixylix is here. To think otherwise is rather naive and shows little understanding of how our club is being run. Dont let your agenda get in the way of the truth.

That makes it worse then, how the fuck can they all approve of this signing.

I would think that that is why there is new, rather experienced director of football.
