Sinclair to Everton On Loan

A lot of people giving marwood shit for signings, you can't blame him for the bad signings and praise mancini for the good signings.

Mancini will have a veto on any players that marwood suggests so maybe marwood identified the wrong players but mancini could have said no. There is no way that they would say you have to sign garcia/rodwell/garcia even if you don't rate them.

+1

Mancini is guilty as well for approving any bad deal.

What did people really expect Mancini to do?

"You've not got me the player I wanted so I'll just have no-one".

He knows even if Garcia isn't half the player De Rossi is, he's still twice the player no-one is. He knows if Sinclair isnt half the player Hazard is, it's better having the option of someone like him than no-one at all.

He knew we needed reinforcements, we clearly got to a stage on the last day of the transfer window (a sign of piss poor business in itself) where something was better than nothing.

Dont think its just Marwood and Mancini in this little dance either. You may not like the idea but final say on player purchases has to come from higher than both of them.

Marwood doesn't sign players for City's first team squad ffs. Why the hell would Marwood sign a player to sit on his arse & take money out of the club ? It would reflect better on him, to save money & sign nobody. How can he gain by forcing Mancini to sign players ?

Sheikh Mansour would ask the question 'who signed this clown ?' the answer would be 'Marwood', so the bloke would just be destroying his own career, for what ?

City's scouts identify players we may be able to get. Mancini decides who we should go for. If we don't get them, he decides on the 2nd choice.

He chose to spend a load of money on those players rather than keep the money.

If they do well, it's down to him. If they are shit, it's down to him.

Would you rather keep ND for one more season and let him leave for nothing or sell him for 3m and buy Garcia for 16 ?

Would you rather sell Weiss for less than 2m and buy Sinclair for 6m when you are not going to rely on either of them ?

Maybe wait until the right player becomes available that you want in your squad and continue with the squad that won us the title last year, just a thought?

Let's face it barring Nasty none of them have featured much anyway, I would rather he said that the right players weren't available and I'm not spending for the sake of it.

If that was the case he would of gone for Messi :-)

Sinclair should stay, i see no reason to get rid or replace, he was a cheap signing, reasonably cheap wages, English, fast and he's willing to wait for his chance and his last few performances have been good, what is the problem???

But we couldnt carry on with the squad from last year could we? De Jong and Johnson both wanted to leave, Savic for Nastasic was a no brainer, and only really Rodwell was additional, which was bought in under that 'youth for the future' idea.

Mancini always wanted a top class CM and a top class attacking mid even when we had all those players. And from what I can remember always complained he didn't have enough players to fight in all competitions. He clearly wasnt about to say 'Oh De Jong and Johnson have left, but as I can't have De Rossi and Hazard I'm sure we can work around it'. He's going to want as many resources at his disposal as possible, because if it all goes to pot its his head on the line. If in the end Garcia and Sinclair was all he was offered to replace De Jong and Johnson, you cant say 'well Mancini still has to sanction signing those players', because he's clearly going to want two more players to chose from or cover than nothing at all. He had to sanction them yes, but I wonder what the reaction would have been on here if we'd gotten no replacements in at all. Much worse Id guess.
