Sky Omit Injured DeBruyne Being Dragged By Robles

My word, how any one can attack him is ridiculous. He obviously thought he was simulating and, as many keepers do, tried to pick him up. I'm sure there wouldn't be this outrage if it were vice versa. Dude made an understandable mistake, immediately apologised and we move on.

An apology is good enough. All he done was think that KdB was doing the usual cheating bastard footballer nonsense - we'd have all been the same if one of their players done the same. However, it was genuine, and as such he's apologised. That's a fair one, so just move on.
Totally agree. I thought KDB was time wasting at first (and was pleased we were giving it back). Then I was obviously gutted for him.

Good of him to apologise.

An apology is enough, if Kevin is happy with that. Unfortunately there are so many time wasters in the game today that real injuries are not the norm in such situations. A bit like simulation, you expect the time wasting tactics in many cases. But just because Everton clearly tried to waste time not just last night, but in the first leg when they were holding a slim advantage and arguably on top overall (could have had a third at goodison, no balls no silverware Roberto) doesn't mean they should judge other's by their own standards.

Would rather Funes Mori apologised. The lump was all elbows and hands in every game we've played against them recently, and he directly contributed to Kevin suffering a nasty injury by hauling him back and contributing to his muscles twisting in his knee. Now that's the prick that should be apologising.

ballboy class of 2016
On a slightly different note. The dick of a keeper wasted time most of the match BUT did anyone see out ball boy near the end ? He collected the ball and then stood there holding it making the keeper run around the goal and run along the hoardings and collect it from him. Even then the ball boy did give it back straight away. Karma you time wasting dick is a beautiful thing.
well done that young man.

Sky commentators made a fuss of Pellegrini and Aguero wanting bookings and how we don't like that over here, yet their keeper tries to drag an injured player to his feet and nothing is said. Strange what bothers them.

He should not have been allowed to man handle De Bruyne and should have been shown a yellow as a minimum.
The apology should be accepted but the FA should warn him over his future conduct.

We are too nice a team have been for far to long, I used to love players like Mike Doyle and Gerry GOW, if anyone tried giving our players shit they got back in spades, Wynn Davies was another who could dish it out, you have to put doubt in the oppositions mind that their could be repercussions because the officials are obviously worried about opinions from above !!!

Agreed bud.
We need at least one "****" in our team, people willing to stand up and say it how it is.
Too many well trained media panderers, paranoid about their image... Which I understand but having no characters does mean we can be taken advantage of as well.

I think Delph could be that player given the chance

I think the title of the thread makes the point. Clearly, the keeper was in the wrong, but the issue is how Sky reported it (i.e. not at all). If you look on their web site there's a photo of him trying to haul a pain-wracked KDB of the ground by his arm with the sub title "Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles tries to assist Kevin De Bruyne". FFS

Not really agreeing with this. Sure we aren't a nasty snarling mob like some. But we do give some good kickings to teams.

Even City omit it from the highlights video, there's no point in banging on about it.

Realised his mistake, called for assistance, apologised sincerely and immediately. That'll do for me. There's a lot worse tw*ts out there.
Spot on.
