Shocked and at the same time McLaren have took 50% of Bahrain Merida so one giant might go to be replaced by another.
 
I don't get the point of competitive cycling. Anyone who actually wins anything will be branded a drugs cheat anyway.
 
If you look behind the headline of Team Sky, Sky have done a lot of good for participation of cycling at all levels in the UK along with British cycling from City skyrides for all rider types to social cycling groups.

My understanding is that this is Comcast looking at all advertising and sponsorships, Dave Brailsford will find it difficult to get anywhere near that amount of sponsorship anywhere in a time where more teams are struggling.
 
Mclaren entering the sport could well drag similar huge, hi-tec companies in so its not all doom and gloom.

Drug companies should sponsor them ;-)
