Anyone go to this yesterday?

According to the OS, Petrov and the Boj were set to star alongside Ben Mee. Anyone prepared to give us a review?

CITY favourites Valeri Bojinov and Martin Petrov will be swapping their kit for costumes to star in "Sleeping Bluety", the 2009 LIVE4CITY/Junior Blues pantomime, at the Gracie Fields Theatre in Rochdale on Sunday, March 8.

FA Youth Cup-winning skipper Ben Mee also has a role in a performance that could easily be subtitled The Late Show - City's continued success in the UEFA Cup ruled out several other potential dates closer to Christmas.

The rest of the cast will include LIVE4CITY members and Junior Blues, Moonchester and Moonbeam will be there, BBC radio's City expert Ian Cheeseman will MC and the doors open at 1.30 for a 2pm performance.

What's more, the handsome prince who wakes Sleeping Bluety with a kiss won't be the only winner - the fantastic raffle prizes on offer will include a family holiday courtesy of Thomas Cook.

Ticket only, on sale NOW: LIVE4CITY members £3.00, Adults £5.00, Junior Blues 0-5 Club plus one parent FREE. To book please ring 0870 062 1894, option 2.

Before The Scum start printing articles that he has, I'll just confirm that he hasn't!!!

It was a good show. Usual format, pantomime based around City. Bleauty was put to sleep for 33 years by the evil witch (wearing red of course) and her nasty accomplices, all wearing red and carrying U**ted bags! (Younger members of the audience of course now associating red with evil!) A few songs about City, for some reason there was a Sheikh, with two sidekicks called Rattle and Roll!

Petrov, Bojinov and Ben Mee well got into the spirit of it, wearing dresses and make up, and having a great laugh, acting along with the kids and letting themselves be ridiculed. Petrov was grooving along with a perm on and sunglasses, hopefully part of his recovery plan!

If you get the chance next year, do go along, it's a good excuse to keep the kids amused and a good laugh.

sounds like Scall its a good footballing education tool as well- evil witches wearing red and the united bags etc. Excellent I say, teach 'em young and that'll keep them away from the dark side and forever blue!
Good to see the footballers have a sense of humour and get in to the fun- Petrov always looks so serious on the pitch, but I'm guessing he has a bit of a soft side as well!!
