This is what confuses me with all the hate for Sky on here - people are still paying for this shit.

I haven't bought a newspaper for way over 15yrs... I can't even remember it was so far back.

We unsubscribed from Sky around 10yrs ago now.

I don't complain about their product as I don't pay them.

As Squirty points out, there are plenty of options now allowing you to watch whatever you want, whenever you want, and from any country

I find the English commentators annoying biased twats so if I watch a game I'll watch it with Foreign commentary as at least I don't have a clue what they are saying :D

Couldn't agree more. People get outraged about all these sky articles that don't paint City in the brightest of lights or they take issue with something one of their "expert" pundits has said. If you simply turned them off and refuse to give them your money, you wouldn't even be aware of them making these articles and comments. You're paying them to wind you up.

Are chelsea fans going to say our players our players only born an average of 2k miles away and yours are much further. It is simply highlighting how global football is, nothing in it suggests a dig at City.

This is another example of the over-sensitivity of some City fans. Interestingly there is another thread on how local our support is compared to Uniteds.

Well maybe just maybe Sky show more then just football....I find there coverage of the NFL, F1 and Rugby League (Super League) to be second to none in the UK anyway.

Hmm... I find I get a much better variety of sport coverage since i ditched Sky than when I had Sky.
Every sport you mentioned I can watch(if i wanted to)
if I ever develop insomnia i'll be sure to tune in to F1
