I know there's already a thread about smoke bombs but I cba looking for it.

Could the group try and speak to the club about allowing us to use smoke bombs during a match? Or is it not up to the club?

I wouldn't mind buying a few smoke bombs for every match if its possible...

It's up to you what you do, but the club is pretty strict about smoke bombs, doubt they would let 1894 do anything with them.

Not this again. You couldn't be arsed looking for it but fortunately I could be arsed answering it.

IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO POSSESS THEM AND BRING THEM INTO THE GROUND SO THERE IS F*CK ALL THE CLUB CAN DO ABOUT IT.

END OF THREAD.

To be fair it could be a massive wind up by the OP and I was just being a mard arse.

just sayin'

its against the law to think about it or mention on a forum so im calling the police

I wouldn't bother, they are all investigating a bank and some knickers wrapped in newspaper. The only suspect they have is a limp wristed character from the Dandy (or possibly a Circus)

Love 'em, but you have a 0% chance of having them approved. Some will stealthily sneak them in for bigger games though, and away games. Better to focus on flags, banners, visuals that aren't deemed a criminal act.

Fucking hell you can tell its the kids summer holidays.

Actually we don't break up until next week but the teacher said it was too hot so we could all go home so nergh nergh nergh nergh.

They do look good and are pretty harmless unless rammed into someone's face but then the same can be said for a set of keys . For some reason the laws on smoke bombs are strict , even if you're suspected of takin them to a football match, you could face prison. It really is pathetic but they seem to be ok with sending people to prison for such things whilst letting people walk for actually causing bodily harm to another person . It really is mad .

My advice to anyone wanting to let them off Is to drop it rather than stand there waving it around .

-- Thu Jul 25, 2013 5:27 pm --

Also, iv heard from the horses mouth itself that the police watch forums (Something we all knew anyway).I wouldn't be surprised if the guy that started this topic is a copper .

Sounds daft, but it wouldn't surprise me.

given the club itself has been known to set off fireworks at end of season (QPR etc) could we ask the club to set smoke bombs?

Not sure about the CL away games but English police aren't giving up. A Stoke fan has been given a four year ban for detonating a smoke cannister on the opening day of the season at Anfield.
Fans of several other clubs have been banned and fined, so you know what could be coming if you get caught.
