He's too fucking old anyway, but I'm sure things could change, but maybe not.[/quote]

Has he got some kind of mysterious age reducing machine??

Price has to be right for Sneijder

Dutch footballer Wesley Sneijder has put Manchester United and Manchester City on alert saying that Inter Milan would sell him for "the right amount". "All I know is that Inter need money and apparently I'm for sale for the right amount," the BBC quoted Sneijder, as saying.

"I've not spoken with City or United so I cannot say anything about my future," he added.
Sneijder has been linked with United all summer, but City is poised with a 34 million pound bid. He will be in London this week for Holland's friendly with England on Wednesday.

Daily Hate Mail:

Chelsea and City have told go-betweens that they will not sign Sneijder. One source at mega-rich City revealed last night that the combined cost of the transfer would be ‘mind-blowing’, such are Sneijder’s personal demands.

All that remains now is to see whether United — Sneijder’s first choice — can persuade the World Cup finalist to lower his wage demands and allow the transfer to happen. If and when that occurs, negotiations over the fee are expected to be relatively straightforward as Inter need to sell at least one big-money star this summer.
The rags may be able to pull this off, but it will take outside investment ie Nike or Qatar

Eto'o looks nailed on to join Anzhi, so I think Sneijder moving is out of the question unless Moratti wants a fan revolt and mid-table status.

He will have a hard enough time coping with the loss of Eto'o.

A different bbc reported has said united haven't signed Sneijder

Does seem strange that we havent bid more than £33 million if the United story is true-i mean Morrati (sp) seems the sort of owner who would accept a bid if it was £1.50 more than somebody elses offer,in fact if he dropped 10p it would hit him on the back of the head.

And Sneijder doesnt seem the sort of player to take a drop in wages either.

Strange if true but fuck it City will be fine.
Not strange atall mate, pure maths. We've got our own plans and Sniejder wasn't in them. We could've changed but not to the tune of approx 75 million.

On top, Sneijder wanted the Rags and we may've not wanted to look like twats, especially after the 'Welcome to Manchester' campaign; we are a brand afterall.

He's too fucking old anyway, but I'm sure things could change, but maybe not.

Can you tell me where to find the quote that Sneijder wants to join the rags?
Do I really have to; do I really have to explain it to you?

I'll not show you the quote, I'll let you learn for yourself mate, sorry.

Swapping Sneijder for Tevez would appease all

Does anybody really think Branca accidently bumped into Tevez on an Italian beach-with cameras accidently there to witness it?

need to go and have a lie down......

OK, I'll take that as you can't produce such a quote. However, I presume it is your interpretation of a quote.

* just saw an interview on SSN and he didn't say anything about wanting to join the rags. I have also read the Mail article based on that interview i believe, and yet again he doesn't say he wants the rags.

Fortunately for you I will explain

Sneijder was asked a closed question. Would you like to join United?

Ask yourself what would have been the recriminations for both himself and Inter had he answered no?

As for the talks. Of course unofficial talks have taken place between a Sneijder rep and United. I'll bet unofficial talks have also taken place with City and all other interested clubs.

Didn't mean to offend mate, just being straight. It could be interpretation, but until you check back, then you'll never know.
