Coming off a very good season, free too. Would make sense but we must look to future rather than here and now. Would be a great signing for a year but imo the squad place should be used on youth stepping up I.e Suarez.

Seedorf seems like a Mancini signing, he'd be used like Vieira was. Could do worse but other clubs want him and might offer him full games.

Could be a vieira type signing, he is still a very classy player too.

if he's much cheaper than last season and happy to play a squad role on not massive wages then yeah, I still think he's got pure class and he can play those defence splitting balls even from deep.

Have you watched City play this season? he is our most consistant player.

Indeed. But at the same time he was very poor in the Champions League and eventually benched, it was his mistake that led to Napoli's counterattack and goal against us. Lescott was also not as good in the Champions League. Barry was caught out more against European teams than he is domestically. The Premier League and Champions League are two different animals and some players don't suit it, or some might suit it more than the Premier League (Veron - a dud in the PL for United, classy in the CL for them).

It was Barry and Lescotts first go at playing champions league i wouldn't rule them out as not good enough for it just yet. Don't think many city players covered themselves in glory during this season in the competition

What is he , 36, 37 ? Could do a Paddy role short term for us..he has been absolute quality, I guess it just depends what he has left in the locker.

I know it was Soccer Aid but Clarence looked like he has certainly not lost it, great feet if a little off the pace. Not that pace Is everything if you are in the right place at the right time....

Tidy signing on a free. Vieira esque. Closing down games and bringing the younger guys on with his experience & know how. The man has presence.
What younger guys are these? Nasri, Toure, Silva, Barry? Our team does not need cool heads. We won the League in the most pressurised of circumstances possible

Might have been good 2 seasons ago

You dont seem able to follow basic concepts Marvin mate! Where did I mention cool heads???

I said he can 'bring younger guys on' and by that I meant use his experience (he's 36 so a lot older the lads you referenced) to improve them (in many areas) as players and as men. He's an extremely experienced player winning the CL 4 times with 3 clubs, has played for AC, Inter, Real, Ajax and Sampdoria and was a dutch international for 14 years.

The man could improve anyone. He doesn't have to be playing every game, he could be used in the Viera role.

Seedorf was brilliant in that Soccer Aid game last Sunday. We are champions, we need to sign him straight away.

We were linked to him last summer if I remember correctly - think he's a fantastic player, one of the best midfielders in world football over the past decade. Two great feet and we would control a lot of games at home with him the side, especially if he comes on with half an hour left or so.

He would basically do the job that Pizarro did for us last season, but be much better.

lol seedorf? makes enough sense but our under 21s last season have got OLD. (need to be registered)
