Ronnie O'Sullivan and Hossein Vafaei will face off in the last 16 of the Snooker World Championship today. Expect this to be fireworks!
what the hell was Vafaei thinking smashing the reds up in the 2nd frame ?!
other than that, Ronnie looking very comfortable.

Ronnie did that to Vafaei in the German Masters two years ago and actually potted a red. I think he was trying to send out a message back as he is still holding a grudge over Ronnie. I remember Alex Higgins would break off that way occasionally, maybe others have done it too. I used to do it if playing a novice opponent to give them a chance (and people did it against me), so professionally maybe that’s why it’s frowned upon. They’re all drama queens some of these snooker players, O’Sullivan is example A.

Brecel didn't win that match, O'Sullivan lost it. Had so many chances in the early frames of that session but couldn't string more than a couple of balls together and never had a break over 30.
That session with Selby and Higgins was a joke. I'd want a refund if I was in the crowd as they were short-changed by 2 frames. To only fit 6 frames in was awful. God knows what time it'll end up finishing tonight.

Brecel was awesome this afternoon. He tore O Sullivan a new asshole simple as that.Brecel didn't win that match, O'Sullivan lost it. Had so many chances in the early frames of that session but couldn't string more than a couple of balls together and never had a break over 30.

O Sullivan was extremely lucky to get as many frames as he did.

Brecel finished the match off extremely well but I've never seen O'Sullivan miss so many easy balls as he did in the first 3 frames this afternoon.
