How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Iirc off the top Of my head:
Job Vacancies everywhere - not enough working age people to cover all the jobs available/wanted from cleaner/bar staff level to hospital consultant level.

Adrift on the world stage, till ukraine.

1st world problem: acres of form filling to do stuff related to EU, and also per country of the EU now.

Still being governed by the very people who backed brexit: boris, Rees-mogg et al. Who are lambasted by the entire political spectrum for, ironically, the negative knock-on effects of brexit exacerbated by covid and ukraine.

Complete polarisation of voters, there is no ‘grey’ anymore, welcome to the US style of political ‘discussion’ and entrenchment.

duplication of effort and hence waste, of the Innumerable EU institutions/laws that have been thrown out/being phased out and need re-writing, editing, confirming, signed off etc etc.

continued fallout of the loss of all the EU institutions that were based in uk, and shifted back across the channel, with the additional costs and wastage of setting up equivalent UK only ones.

watering down of replacements (if any) of EU laws protecting the environment, our health, community support.

oh and the economy is fucked because we voted to introduce economic sanctions on ourselves. The only country in the world ever to do that.

Makes you proud. When it comes to committing Hari Kari, the Japanese Warrior class never had a fucking look in. Took those cunts to the cleaners we did. And they know it. In fact everybody does, I’m not a fucking psychic, but I can see into a future we needn’t be a part of. But why listen to me, hair aside, I’m just a tuppence ha’penny type of guy.....,.Focus more on the hair though, not the tuppence bit.

We knew that Boris was a repeated liar and adulterer, but we voted for him and are surprised when he lies. We knew that the Conservative party had failed on nearly every economic and social measure over the previous eight years, yet re-elected them and are surprised that they continue to fail. We were told of the potential risks to leaving the EU but we dismissed them as Project Fear and are now surprised that it has been a disaster. Either the electorate are utterly stupid, completely myopic, or so easily led that they act like lemmings, walking the nation mindlessly over the edge despite warning signs every 50m. At some stage, surely, the nation's eyes will eventually open.

Perhaps they knew all of that but felt it was still better than the alternative.
