How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Oh dear - he wants to put his back into steel for political reasons so we face a trade war - steel 0.1% of the economy - he pledged that for fishing and that went well there - expect mass steel works closures next year

"The government is becoming continued on page 4"?

I didn't think things were that bad.

It won't be tariffs on steel that brings us a trade war, it will be our talentless and largely thick as pig shit cabinet reasoning to themselves a headline in the Daily Fail will be more meaningful than the reactions from an increassingly frustrated international community fed up with us breaking treaties we have signed.

Laws apply which this government is incapable of accepting, which is they have to act in the best interests of the people they represent. Maybe they should read the rules and understand they apply to the UK.

I don't know which is the larger of the two between fishing and steel production in terms of annual GDP, but the tories have royally fucked both those industries up over the years, and it's more than a bit rich after the history of tories running both those industries into the ground our glorious king of the world now wants to be seen as a saviour.

It's a bit like making headlines for recruiting 20,000 police officers after they sacked more than that number for the cause of austerity, which has resulted in untold misery for so many for no other reason than halfbaked ideology.

52% of those that voted for it mate. (making no comment regarding the quantity of brain cells of that population).
I’m sure if many of them had applied their minds purposefully and in a measured fashion to what Brexit entailed, they would have realised all this was inevitable; it’s just that they didn’t.

It will get worse and will need to do so. Once we voted to leave, we had to imo - the sooner the horrible lesson is learned, the better for everyone.
