Hardly exercised for years....No let me rephrase that cos who am I kidding, I have not exercised for decades. Also carrying the proverbial beer belly although to be honest it's more down to far too much fizzy pop, sugar and sweet things. So after talking the talk for god knows how long, last month I decided to cut out fizzy drinks and other stuff and tonight I thought I'd start exercising at home for a week building up with the intention to start jogging next week.
Mrs 2112 has got all sorts of exercise stuff and so I started off on a lateral thigh trainer. You kind of like run on this machine going up and down and can adjust the difficulty levels. I started off on 30 second cycles, up to a minute, minute and half, two minutes and up to 4 minutes at a time. In total I've done around about 20mins and I AM ABSOLUTELY FOOKED!
Christ almighty I've never sweat so much, my legs are shaking violently and I feel like Bambi on ice. We're going away in 3 months and I've swore I'll lose some weight before we go. Either that or I'll end up 6ft under.
