I watched the game today and I thought it was a really good display by us and made me think if we hadent of had the long uefa cup run this squad would now be in the top 6 .
Now we have finally won away in the league I hope it gives the players some belief and we can go to spurs and the morgue with new found confidence.
Mark hughes promised us a good end of season and up to now his prediction is right.

On another note and im sorry if this has already been posted but if everton win the Fa cup ,does that give another place in the league for the europa cup.

look it's all very well being positive, but the end of the season has been extremely mixed. I also hate the emergence of the UEFA cup as an excuse for poor performances. It's up to the manager to manage the resources to best minimise the effects, and frequently, it's not tiredness so much as disorganisation and poor decision making (on and off the pitch) that's lost us games.

7th was already assumed to be the lowest place for a Europa League spot as everton were nailed on to finish 5th/6th, them winning the Cup wouldnt make any difference.

But, yeah, it was a good display, we looked confident and showed good understanding and team spirit, one of the best of the season! its a huge relief to beat everton at last, get that away win, and keep ourselves in the hunt for European football. We need to play to that level consitently until the end of the season. THEN hughes will be able to say we finished the season well.

only 2 away wins yet we still have a chance of europe makes you wonder what could of been we should do blackburn with our good home form and keep the presure on looking at the table the fulham game could come back to bite us on the arse we need euro to atract top players

THIS! We win one away game looking fresh and up for it and everyone starts jumping on the bandwagon using the UEFA cup as an excuse, while at the same time its what we are gunning for now and trying to achieve. The some of the dismal performances and goals we have let in over the course of this season has certainly not been up to us just being tired. I am just glad we are showing some fight finally!
