A fantastic team player who can play with both feet and has great vision and distribution skills. S suddenly they have Carrol and Suarez up top with Ngog backing them up. Lucas, Gerrard, Meirreles, and Prieto (eventually) in the middle. Jovanovic, Pacheco, Kuyt and Rodriguez out wide. Suddenly it seems like the announcement of their gradual demise has been greatly exaggerated.

They are a Leftback away from being back to being the top 4 fighting Liverpool again.

Oh by the way Prieto is valued at 8 million. Totally affordable

He plays both right wing and AM. Well that is what Prieto will bring- Quality depth. He is not gonna bench Gerrard, but when injuries and breathers are necessary, he'd be a quality guy to bring in.<br /><br />-- Wed Mar 23, 2011 2:54 pm --<br /><br />

That is strange, considering I have never played Football Manager before. :)

Prieto is average at best. Hes been at Sociedad for years now and no club has ever gone in for him. Even when they where relegated no-one wanted him and he hasnt improved since he first burst on the scene. Also at 27 he aint going to get any better.

Crouch/VanderVaert or Carroll/Suarez. Seems like comparable options to me.
