Just had a call from my bro in law. My little nephew (only 6) plays football for his local club (based in morecambe) a couple of time a week and they were in a touranment in Blackpool today. My nephew played in 3 games and scored 12 goals and my brother in law was approached by a scout from Blackburn and wants him to go down and train with the Blackburn kids for the next couple of Thursdays with a view to joining their academy.

Made up for him.

Fingers crossed he makes it far lad :). I once got scouted by fulham and southampton fans for playing in goal in a little tournament but manager wouldn't allow me to leave! The git :(

I was never scouted by anyone as I used to run with straight legs and couldn't control my own saliva!

I've got everything crossed for him, plus he is City mad. (His dad wanted him to be an Everton fan but ever since he was born all I ever bought him was City related stuff, so much so that even his formerly Everton fan dad now goes to half a dozen City games a season with both nephews).

Good luck to the lad

SWP you could of been Vinnie Jones if you had seen your football career through
Haha, being a keeper, by the time I got to where the fight was taking place I was usually out of breath and used to just have a little sit down.

Been down to Blackburn for a trial about 4 years ago pity I tore my Hamstring in the first 10 minutes of being there but they have very very good facilities, can't do too bad there if he gets on. Good luck to him mate.
