If Man is 5, and the Devil is 6, then God is 7.
Lack of respect for the manager? Pelli lost the dressing room?
Tired/ Burnt out /Training too hard?
Too many players on long term contracts/ Lack of professionalism?

What the hell is going on? It's a complete meltdown in Europe and we are going to cock the whole season up if something is not done very quickly.

So where is it going wrong at the moment in your opinion?

We have not improved our team over summer. Our best players may have peaked.Midfield seems to be a problem and maybe to much rotation at the back

Whole range of factors but if I was to pick out a couple its the fact that we move the ball too slowly going forward and are too easy to be picked off on the counter attack.

Confidence is down and when that is down your basics like passing and the ability to keep possession fall away quickly.

No freedom of movement on and off the ball in our side this season so far with the ability to sit tight if we lose possession and close ranks.

Predictable tactics, a midfield that is easily swamped, ssllooww passing, no pace in the side, lack of belief, manager not getting into the players head's, manager not sorting out the mentality issues that the previous manager couldn't, no intensity, no drive, lack of communication (only Hart and Kompany talk on the pitch), lack of leaders (only Hart Kompany and Silva lead the team), reliance on certain players...I could go on and on.

If we knew the answer mate, I think we would have fixed it by now.....even Pelle couldn't explain what happened last night.....I think its a little bit of all the points you mentioned.....I think the only thing you didn't mention was the system.....Pelle changed it at half time last night but still cant believe he expects "his" system to work...clearly the 4-4-2 is NOT working and needs to rethink things....if he doesnt, then he does deserve to get the sack after the season......I really do believe he needs to look himself in the mirror and not be too proud to say, he needs to change that system..Skysports were on the money when they said teams like Chelsea make changes and move players/system depending on the teams they are playing......Pelle has yet to show that ability. I also agree that we gave out long term contracts to a number of players that we shouldn't......Last night was all down to the players and they let themselves down in a bad way....I've seen a number of games this season where they've played worse than at any point for a couple of seasons and we keep making the excuse that its early in the season....problem is we've had to keep saying that because performance is not improving and before we know it, Christmas is here and the race is on for the prem.....I was very proud of the fans support last night.....the support they showed during the game, even with City playing so badly was amazing!!

One thing I do know for sure....we need to bring in some fresh players in Jan or over the summer.....

its the blue shorts!!!!! ;-)

seriously though there is a massive problem somewhere and the players seem to not have confidence in the system/formation for me.
