It all kicks off in just about a week from now, so who are your predictions to lift the much-coveted old trophy?

Personally. I think it's a harder one to call this time around, but I just have a gut-feeling that the Italians will do it again. I can see the usual suspects there or thereabouts (Brazil, Spain etc) but I'm thinking of having a couple of quid on Lippi's lot to reign in South Africa.

I honestly don't think we (England) are going to do at all very well, and that's not because of the AJ thing: I just honestly think there are far far better teams than us - although I'd love to be proved wrong.
 
If Argentina had a good manager i think they would piss it. Think they may still sneak it though in spite of Maradona
 
it will be no doubt the usual suspects, italy, spain, france, germany, brazil, argentina, if we get a bit of luck, england could win it
