United or City? a Dad gets ready to auction his son's future football allegiance on eBay... all for a baby charity.

On Thursday, this guy who supports Watford, whilst acknowledging he'll struggle getting his son to support his team whilst living in Manchester, will launch an Ebay auction with the winning bidder being granted their choice of who his son (Eddie) will support.

All proceeds will go towards a charity for premature and sick babies.

That's disgraceful.

Yep. When he's old enough to understand and finds out why he supports whichever team, because of a random bloke forking out money to choose, he'll surely end up resenting the team.

It's certainly attention seeking but, I suppose, if it raises a few bob for a good cause, I've heard of worse crimes from new dad's.

Like starting a race row at stupid o clock on an rip thread, for example..! Poor someone's nan... she deserved a better send off than that. That woman survived the measles, you know!

Hmm I dunno... See if I was informed right now that I support this club because my Dad wanted to raise a few quid for a decent charity, and i support city because of this.

I wouldn't be bothered, in fact it sounds better than say: oh I support XXXX club because i didn't wanna get punched by that kid on the park when I was 9yrs old.

And as soon as MANUre let a goal in he'll be fuckin' off to support CFC! Some people are morons. And instead of keeping it a family secret, they are let loose on social media and advertise the fact.
