If you wanted a ticket for a sold out gig at say the MEN for example what would be your prefered method of obtaining a ticket - ebay, tout, website or another??

Depends on demand.
You can normally get tickets on e-bay cheaper than face value if you leave it until the last minute.
However if demand is 10 x the venue size this will not apply. A lot of people sell spares last minute making a loss, the pro-sellers get rid of them early.

arena gigs, tout it about 5 minutes before she's going on. about 9pm. cheap as cheaps or your money back.
done rem, morrissey, madness, limp bizkit, the cure, foo fighters, oasis for a fiver at big shows.
