Something funny from last night

So last night in my hometown here our local club the Portland Timbers made their MLS debut in their rebuilt stadium. The local supporters club was given the rare opportunity to sing the national anthem before the match(which we do before every sporting event). Yeah I'm a little proud of our local support for the sport.

tremendous atmosphere and clubs like them (and your rivals Seattle & Vancouver) can only be positives for the league. The quality in MLS is definitely getting there (no, I know it'll never be a 'top' league) but its ten times better than it was just five seasons ago.

I love how steep the seating looks in the one stand in video, it gives a real Bundesliga feel to it, not to mention the kits look a bit like Wolfsburgs.

The lumberjack during the match is ridiculously silly though, traditional or not.
