Songs featuring saxophones

Was wondering just how many posters on here have played with an actual real saxophone?

I haven't, though i wouldn't mind giving it a shot as long as i knew for certain it wouldn't impact or hinder my already busy cardio regimen.

Always viewed it as thee most intriguing n liked of all wind instruments personally.

Never played one myself , but I was in a band with the worst sax player I ever heard. He made it sound like a broken hoover.
played badly it can be an excruciating racket.
On a different note, (no pun intended) get to the last few bars of Lou Reed’s ‘walk on the wild side’ - well worth the wait.

Yeah, i'm very familiar with Lou's last few bars as well as whole song, it leaves the listener wanting for more sax whilst at same time being very content with it's use!

It's the portion that A Tribe Called Quest would've loved to of included when they sampled him in making 'Can i kick it'

I am very surprized that Hidden Beach's 'Unwrapped' haven't attempted a Jazzed up version of Lou's Walk on the wild side as yet, i have some really cool vinyl's from the Hidden Beach Recordings n their Unwrapped series of instrumental covers.

"Shaved her legs, and then he was a she..."
