Songs you hate with every fibre of your being.

Call Me Al - Paul Simon....just awful
This was in one of my lists, much earlier on.

For someone who's written some of the most beautiful music of the last 60 years, he really deserves to be put in the stocks and pelted with rotten veg, for foisting this shite on us.

As I'm a radio "channel hopper", it's inevitable that I'll hear a few bars of this shite, at least 3 times a week.

Greatest hits of my dipso antisocial neighbour:

She had Carole King on repeat every day for two whole summers. The album skipped all over the place but she got around that by playing this one song on repeat, fourty, fifty times in a row, adding her own, inimicable, 'raw' vocal accompaniment.

Finally she got another CD to play. This became the standard - woken up by this every saturday morning from about 8, in the knowledge we'd be listening to the whole compilation. Every evening too.

We finally got through to her, after three years. But she still occasionally gets bladdered, and plays the first track before someone kicks the door down.

Exactly, it's quite unforgivable

2 songs I hate are by Ray Stevens,
Bridget The Midget & The Streak.

Not going to trawl through the whole 82 pages to see if it's already been nominated, but:

Another Brick in the Wall

Perhaps the song I most dislike in the history of pop and rock. An honourable second is:

Breakfast in America
