Can't stand the Wolfe Tones rhetoric. They're accomplished musicians, only a fool would argue otherwise but, by Christ they don't half play the shit-stirring, rabble-rousing card to death. Very tiresome, that and, on the one occasion that I saw them live, downright ignorant in their attitude to an English couple who happened to be staying in the hotel attached to the venue they were playing.

That said, "Joe McDonnell" is one of the greatest folk songs ever written. Go figure.
