Just found this masterpiece on the MUEN Player Ratings Conversation section ............
Samuel Luckhurst in my opinion is not my favourite reporter and has an agenda against Ole and has his pet hate players.
However His player ratings tonight are more accurate than usual and I do not have many major issues.
I believe Ole has done a tremendous job of steading the ship and laying strong foundations and made true progress.
Ole knows the proper DNA of the club and what it takes and is needed to be successful. We very much still need him at the club.
I now wonder if perhaps Ole should become the Director of Football in charge of recruitment of players and staff and all footballing matters.
This would then enable us to advance from what Ole has laid down and appoint a new first team coach to follow what has been started to take matters to the next level.
This means that any new Manager keeps the existing coaching staff but can also bring in his own right hand man and we then rely on his talent, charisma , enthusiasm and passion and also his knowledge and ability both as a man manager and also tactical genius.
Ole has many gifts but tactical substitutions and timely ones appeared to be lacking plus taking inspired risks in selection when possibly needed.
Who is up to the task and could advance the performances ? If there is no outstanding person then we need to stick with Ole as the team Manager.
Another solution is for Ole to appoint a new right hand man coach to help out. SAF always brought in a new ideas man coach every 3 to 4 years to advance and freshen up matters.
