#SOO Save Our Olé Season III.....Ole, The Trilogy.....We've Failed.....Thank You Ole.

just seen zidane leaving madrid, rags will bet getting giddy now!
That's just latching on to the next 'big name' and doesn't work if they are not a fit (e.g. Mourinho). Appointing ex-players just because they are 'legends' and 'understand the club' rarely works either (e.g. Frank at Chelsea as well). What they really need to do is find a manager who can get a tune out of the current team as well as rebuilding effectively. Honestly don't think there is a good fit out there at the moment.

At this stage, it might be for the best to see Ole get the chop.
Why? Because he's not the problem.
Their problem is recruitment. United have spent as much as City or Chelsea or anyone in the last few years, yet there wasn't one player the manager could turn to with even 50% confidence that he would take that game by the scruff of the neck last night.
Years of Emperor's New Clothes PR coming home to roost there too. Turns out Januzai and Martial aren't the new Pele and Maradona after all. Who'd a thunk it?
It'll take more than giving the revolving door on the manager's office yet another spin to fix all that's rotten at Old Trafford. There's a blended mindset of arrogance, overconfidence and blithe incompetence that needs to be addressed in various quarters that needs addressing above all else.
That said, if changing the manager sets the whole toxic cycle in motion again, who are we to interfere?

It was interesting - he didn't make subs for ages and ages, was he planning for pens, or was he telling the owners that Utd. have a good 11, but not a good squad?
He knows the fringe players are cack, as are a lot of the first eleven. Two of the subs were brought on just to take penalties, lot of good that did.
