Sound equipment gathering dust

In 40 years of primary teaching in Manchester I never worked in a school or knew of a school with a dedicated music teacher.
Since the NC came in it was down to classroom teachers to deliver music.
You were lucky if a school had a piano and someone able to play in assemblies.

Amps can be valuable. Especially if they're valve amps.
I have a valve amp thats worth about 2 grand. I'll be selling it soon as my playing days are over.

Why not look up/google each item and value it, then sell them on marketplace.

When my son was in a band, they practised in our basement and kept all their amps and speakers in the house. They've long since gone their own ways but I still have the stuff in my garage from those days.

There's a couple of amps, a couple of speakers, a pedal board, a mixer board, a couple of midi keyboards and other bits and pieces including a drum pedal. They're absolutely no use to me and I can't imagine they're worth that much, so I'm happy to give them away if necessary.

Does anyone have any idea who might want these? Does anyone know of a band or other organisation in North Manchester who might be able to use these?
A local school?

@bluejon might, or may know someone
can't really add anything to what's already been written. even if there was a synth or something i fancied buying, if i add anymore synths to the kitchen i'm going to end up getting divorced. so no, unless there's a roland juno 106 in there in mint condition, when we should talk.

Valve amps and some effects pedals can be with a fair bit particularly if they are vintage ones. Seen some effects pedals from the late 70s go for a few hundred quid.

Every Primary school I worked in, apart from one, had a teacher who was in charge of music. Granted sometimes not with the extra pay and a lot of time they didn’t have musical instruments which was the point I was making. Plus a lot of music was done in after school clubs. :-)

However this is a thread about the equipment the OP has so I now withdraw from the conversation. :-) :-)
