Mark Hughes according to the Daily Mail:

'Hughes actually believes his team to be ahead of schedule. With the addition of new defenders in January and more time on the training field, he believes the second half of this season will be better than the first.'

Were have I heard that before, it was sometime last year?

We have had the new defenders in January and the new winning mentality players en masse in the summer and things only seem marginally better at best, but get worse week by week.

Why do I think if we give more time and wait for new players in January that we will then need to be patient and give them more time to gel. Oh and then there will be the promise and prospect of new players in the summer, who will make things right, better players, players with a winning mentality.

Sorry I am starting to get dizzy going round and round the same excuses.

We do not need new players, we need to mould the current players into a team, and boot the 'hoof and boot' style football back to the dark ages asap. I believe more time on the training field with our current coaches will only result in even more 'hoof and boot' boring football, that will win us nothing. It is not the players at fault or the real problem it is the way they are used.

I want Hughes to succeed but if that is to happen massive backrooom changes need made asap, as a minimum.
