Not seen any news on this but did watch a documentary about the white underclass that are more and more frequently living in squalor in spring up ghettos across the country. So much recent history and pent up anger and the young white generation are being punished for their forefathers. Was a really interesting documentary which highlighted racism in both communities and feeling of resentment and acceptance of a very bleak future. There was a very worrying undercurrent of violence being drummed in in the poor black community, I can't remember the name of the organisation doing it but the chant was about shooting the white man.

A sad state of affairs for all where the haves and haves not are so vast.

My daughter loved it when she did work experience over there, probably very dependent on what part of the country your in.

What a shame, I was in kwaZulu-Natal a year and a half ago, fantastic place but corruption destroys it

A friend of mine is there now. He was due to fly home today, but that is delayed as he can't get his Covid test done. Said there is gunfire close to where he is staying.
